Depends on the gear & water onboard.....possibilities are infinite........did a 22 mile greenbelt cruise in my flat prairie area and somehow had 3750 climbing ft. Has IG 8spd belt drive with dynamo fr hub and hydro discs so rides all night are doable without worrying about batteries. Fun dodging rabbits, owls, possums and such and blinding joggers with my massive 3w LED lighting, lol.

This is just to hop on out the door and exploit endless greenbelts with no loading up bike and gear and actual MTB clothing and such but this in no way any replacement for MTB rides, just comes in handy after work with little prep needed. The casual coolness of is change of pace and embracing a lower keyed riding experience is refreshing filler until terrorizing the landscape on the crazy bikes can happen. I could ride this thing to Argentina with all the panniers and frame bags I have for it. A bike camping trip on it would be cool thing I'm considering....just not riding in road with traffic tho.............can't & won't trust cell phone zombies.

Right now, my progress is just maintaining. I started changing eating habits about 4 years ago, then over the next 3 years lost a bit over 100 lbs. For the last year, I have been just doing what I need to to maintain it. That's good for me.

I'm gaining weight right now. Started at 170lbs first day of Fall and I'm sitting at 190 right now. I was hoping to hit 200lbs by January 1st but I don't think it'll happen. After the 1st ill cut back down to 170-175

What’s your height? I just calculated my maintenance cals today after maintaining the same weight for 2 weeks, and losing 1 lb every week prior to that.

I'm 6'2. I have always been tall and skinny and extremely active. I always had trouble gaining weight. I worked a manual labor job for 10 years while also going to the gym. I was promoted to an office job a year ago and it has made gaining weight much easier, and losing a little more challenging. I used to be able to eat 2500 cals a day and still lose 1lbs a week, now its like 1500 cals lol

Good news is that you can gain mass easier and put on more muscle, and just add in some aerobic exercise to keep the fat at bay. I assume you watch your cal intake?

I do when I am maintaining or losing weight. Gaining? Not so much, I've been doing tracking cals so long that I know how I need to eat. And a few extra pounds of fat on me doesn't hurt. I use the fall as a break from all the obsessive macro tracking and diet tweaking to keep what you eat some what interesting. Just eat it all, and make as much progress on lifts as you can.

I hate it when you have to recalculate and drop your calories! You get a good groove going with your diet, your making progress, and feeling good. Then you step on the scale and it didn't move that week. "Maybe i'm retaining a little water...or maybe I'm brewing a 1lb shit? I'll give it another week". Still no change the second week and now you wasted 2 weeks and have to reconfigure your diet and your gf's friend's pool party is coming up and you just know those 2lbs would have been the difference in having a six pack lol. So frustrating

How many cals a day are you at right now?

I’m currently “maintaining” but been dropping slowly without intention. Like I had 5 cookies the other day lmao.

    What’s your height and weight?

I'm pretty short, 5'5", 190 lbs. I was at 215 lbs. At my worst. I do work out at least 3 times a week but my eating habits aren't the best. I work shift work so my nights and days are all messed up. I have been able to maintain my weight bur like I said I want to drop another 20 at least.

Gotcha man. 190 and 5’5 should be easy to drop 20 more lbs. I have worked shift and kept my diet on point. You got this man. Just gotta make it happen.

What diet are you planning on following?
    Low carb? Calorie counting? Keto?

I'm 58 so it's all about moderation........on everything - food, drink, exercise, stress. Playing the long game at this point. 6' and weight fluctuates between 205 and 215 depending on summer or winter. Not fighting it, not doing any drastic workouts or dieting. Is what it is and will be.................

Not Keto, don't have the decipline for that, but calorie counting and low carb intake is what I try to stick with. I try to keep my carb intake at the early part of my day and definitely not have any before going to bed. If I know I'm working out that day my carb intake usually is a little more. And I try to drink as much water as I can, even though it's not my favorite
