Buy it cheap and stack it deep. I'm about the same on ammo count, my problem is I have so many damn calibers. And I don't really want to get rid of any of them, lol. About the only pistol calibers I have that are below 1k (and not much below 1k) are 32acp, 380, and 40short and weak, calibers I don't usually worry about. 357/38, 44, 45, 9mm, and especially God's pistol caliber, 10mm, I'm well above worry level, but I still want to buy ammo, lol.

Rifle calibers, 223/556, 308, x39, x54r, 5.45, not worried about. 300bo, I should have enough, but it's such a fun round, it's easy to burn a couple hundred rounds in a day. 5.7 is even worse, since one box of ammo only fills 1 mag, and it just gets burned up so quick in a PS90. I have over 2k of it, but that's only like 40 mags worth of reloads. 30-06 is about the only caliber I could see myself getting completely out of since 308 is just as good, and you can get an AR in 308, whereas there's only Nemo and Noreen who make ARs in 30-06, and other semi-autos are hard to find in that caliber.

22mag is a little low for me, but I only have a Ruger American for it right now. I would like to get a CMR30 and turn it into a poor man's MP7. 22lr, more than plenty. 12ga, no probs.

    Range report:

0 baffle strikes and this thing is a blast to shoot! Recoil is non existent and POI may have dropped a hair but not enough to notice. I love this AK
