Meh, PSA ak quality is still to be proven. I’d love to have one but it seems to be a quantity over quality at this point. Several of the first releases have been through my buddies shop with issues already. Just not up to par for a $1,000 rifle in my opinion.

I’ll probably run the enhanced, I’m not paying the $250 people are asking for the ultimate just to be unhappy with it.

What's everybody running for weaponlights on their rifles?

    Surefire?
    Streamlight?
    Modlite?
    Olight?

I’ve got a surefire M951 on one, and an streamlight rm1 on another. Next light will be a surefire scout pro, or Modlite PLHv2-18350. The Streamlight is solid for $100 though.

Seams preference is skewed towards Surefire.
The Modlites have my attention as well.

Trying to stick with 18650 batteries for compatibility.
Higher lumen output is preferred but I know sometimes you can have too much light.

I disagree about having too much light, having done night-time/dark CQB with a white light for real.

I think Surefire is lacking in performance, but the most proven in durability, so that's what I lean towards.

A dimmer light that is reliable is better than a bright light thats not reliable

Not in Texas, but I stick with proven Surefire and Streamlight weaponlights

Depends on the usage, lumens is cool but Candela is what matters. You go flashing your 50k candela light on a white wall at close distance you’ll wish you hadn’t. New tech lights are bright af.
