Most 6ppc shooters (not me yet since this is my first 6ppc) load at the range. the reason why is that the 6ppc is very finnicky to tune. Meaning that at 50 degrees with 20% humidity, it may like 29.7 grains of powder, but at 80 degrees with 70% humidity, it may like 29.3 grains of powder. This is the part I am not looking forward to, however as I continue my search into group shooting, I must do it to compete. When guys are shooting FIVE groups of 5 shots at 100 yards, and averaging .180" groups over those 25 shots, that's what you have to do to shoot with them.

That is a little outside of my patience. Its hard enough getting a load figured out for a hunting round. I have not dove into temp differences affecting the group. I will say that my .280 shot .589" in 70 degree weather and then at 10 degrees I hit a pig at at 150 yards with no noticeable difference in point of impact.

Picked up a used Shield Performance Center 9mm with fiber optic sights and ported barrel and slide during lunch yesterday for $450. Gun is clean and the spring is still very stiff, so it is not fully broken in yet. The manager took it in the night before, the previous owner said it was barely used and just sat in the safe.

I gotta brag on Mrs Zombie Killer a bit. She hates the fact that I hunt and kill little Bambi. She has only been to deer camp a half dozen times in 20+ years. So it was tough to get her here on Easter weekend.

While here, she wanted to shoot the "rifle with no backlash (recoil)". So I got out the heavy 300 BO, and we had a little fun.
I have steel set up out to 500 yards.
She shot 2 shots at 200 yards, 2 shots at 300 yards, and 1 single shot at 400.
All hit steel. This is her shot at 400 yards. 20210403_140729.jpg

Well guys unfortunately I have a blown turbo on my truck and I need some cash flow to buy a new one. Everything will include shipping to the CONUS and mags can only be sold in legal states. I will accept PayPal (FF only and ¡absolutely no notes!), Zelle or Venmo. I'm not paying taxes at the end of the year for G&S, sorry blame PayPal. These will go out priority male on Monday at the earliest. If you would like insurance please let me know as it will be extra.

First I'll take it followed by PM and this has been cross posted.

Up on the chopping block are three mags.

One Izzy 545 True black from SVETOGOR DEFENSE - $550

One Molot 45 Round bakelite from SVETOGOR DEFENSE - $800 - this one hurts to sell. It's like you stabbed me in the left nut.

One Izzy Polymiade 545 bakelite - Sold

Next is a couple of optics.

This one is very cool and took me forever to find. It's a Trilux SUIT L2A2 with M16 carry handle mount. This has the led conversion done and I have put a freah battery in. Complete that FAL or Galil look. $600

Next one will be sold as a package and I will not split so don't ask.

Primary arms 3x Prism in 5.56. mounted on a RS Regulate 302 and akog upper. Optic will come in 2x glx box and the mounts will come with both boxes if you want them. Sold

    White ashy feet are negotiable

    It's all good man

Doesn't hurt to ask because sometimes you might get lucky like the dudes that asked me about Handguards and other rare mags I had. I ended up making enough money for a new turbo so it ain't hurting me that Sam asked

Definitely not as good looking as @Sleipnir ’s latest build but for a poor American bastard ak74 it should do. A few more little things to take care of (unity taps isn’t playing well with the gas tube lever yet) and it’ll be ready to go.

    how it started

    1C240BBB-2356-4BC7-B318-CFDCD0E1330D.jpg

    and how it ended

    4EC34364-F2F0-49F8-8CAF-76482EEE69A0.jpg

Jumped on the 5.45 train last year since it was the only “cheap” ammo I could still buy in bulk. Loving it so far.
