One month 6 days from when I mailed it to just receiving it back 20 minutes ago. Had planned on leaving this slide but with all the covid BS and Jagerwerks releasing a new cut named “covid” I figured why not. And yes the stippling job is shit but this was my first Glock I ever owned and have put too many rounds through to get rid of it. Doesn’t look pretty but it works like it’s suppose to.

Throwing this out again since we are about to start back up shooting.
If any of my DFW TW buddies would like to take a stab a short range benchrest, and are free this saturday morning, message me.

    Requirements are:
Must be able to be at the gun club in Mansfiled by 7:30am, and stay till 12:00ish
Must shoot a rifle Right handed (my set up is only RH.... sorry)
Must be able to pay guest fee of $10
Muat be able to shoot 40-60 rounds of ammo.
Must be able to follow range commands TO A TEE (Commence fire, cease fire)

    I will provide:
Rifle, ammo, rest, targets, hearing protection, coaching, and prob a bunch of useless facts that will bore you to death, or fascinate you.

These rifles are some of the most accurate rifles in the world. There should be approx 15-20 other shooters there competing. I will be running the match, and i may not always be right there with you.

This is the set up you will be shooting. This is a score gun, bot group gun. So you will be shooting 25 different targets 1 time each for a score.

    Range is located at:
    11500 CR 525
    Mansfield TX 76063

I was just kidding. I used to like Glocks, owned quite a few and shot them for 15+ years. That’s a nice rig you have!
Since I’ve gone to Sig, I’ll never go back to Glock, though. The Sigs feel like perfect extensions of my arms. I’m really digging them.

I do have a left handed set up, but with match being the first time we have shot at our range in over a year, I am expecting a large crowd.
If you want to do this, we just need to plan it better, and I can make that happen. The "left" handed set up is still a right bolt, but is right feed and right eject (so it feeds and ejects from the same side of the gun a lefty would be sitting on). I also have a left handed joy stick rest (my dad shoots lefty and he shoots my extra set up) so you can still sit on the right side of the gun, and squeeze the trigger with your left hand.

by most accurate I mean that these guns are made to shoot 5 shot groups that measure center to center at .100" inches at 100 yards.
The "KING" of the group calibers is actually a 6 ppc, however at the moment a 30 caliber actually holds the record of smallest group ever shot with a 10.5 pound rifle. The group measured .0077" from center to center of all 5 shots....

this game I shot tomorrow is "SCORE" shooting.

Group shooting is placing 5 shots on 1 single target all at the exact same spot (anywhere on the target). You then measure the group from outside to outside, and subtract the diameter of the bullet to see what the "center to center" measurement would be. That is your score. lowest score wins. The group below is my personal best in competition (it doesn't count in practice). It measures .428" across (.428" - .308" = .120")

    100050426_3332784256756516_5453425911099_db8f64684e11d1084e3849b4772bab8a29710f68.jpg

Score shooting is placing 5 shots at an exact location on 5 different targets.
The below target is a score target. You place a single shot on targets 1-5 for a score. The bottom right target is labeled "S" for sighter (you can see the scoring template), and you can shoot as many sighter bullets at that square as you like. You total up targets 1-5 to get a score. Highest score wins. since most shooters shot a perfect 250 (25 shots hitting the 10 ring) the tie breaker is how many times you hit the "X" dot in the middle of the 10 ring. That dot is about 1/16". The below target is scored 50 - 4x.

Okay, that’s really pretty awesome. I’d love to come out with y’all at some point.

I’ve been able to ring steel at 1k, but you seem to have an entirely different game!

    how often do you shoot?

We shoot matches at our club on the 4th Saturday of the month. However i can go out there and shoot anytime you want. If you want to show up.for a match, and just chexk it out, its free, and i can always let you pop a few rounds. My bench partner is also a lefty. I am sure he will let you pop a few rounds off his set up. Its nice having a lefty as a bench partner so you dont have to move your stuff off the table while they shoot.

We have a few guys that bring their 1000k rifles and shoot with us, but at 100 yards, they hardly ever win. Occasionally they do, but not often.
The caliber i shot is 30br. It is the king of score (as 6ppc is king of group).
