I had to look up 30br. Admittedly, I didn't know it was a thing.

I'd like to come check it out, even if I don't shoot the first time. I have plans tomorrow morning and probably wouldn't make it out 'till 11-12.

Will you be there in June?

As long as we don't get rained out, or the Gov shuts us down again. We should be wrapping up around 12 noon. I am always the last one to leave since i run the match, so i prob wont be leaving till after that.

Most folks havent. No manufacturer makes 30br stuff, so tou have to make your own. Its not hard, but good tools are essential. Many ueara ago, i made a video on how I do it. There are several methods, but this is mine. (Dont judge the video quaility too harsh).

Big thank you @p1zombiekiller for the invite today. Lots of lessons learned and had a great time.

First was how to hold the rifle.
Y’all know how you drive the rifle stock into your shoulder and control recoil? Not here. In fact, you don’t really touch the thing. You use your eye to control recoil.

Really though, you’re not up on the gun as you’d expect. You’re kinda playing the “I’m not touching you” game from when we were kids.

Wes really does have a beautiful gun though.

And he helped teach too, to get me on paper.

So much for working on the house today.

@Naveronski You also learned what a small 5 mph wind does to a 308 flat base bullet traveling at 3000 fps..... (see target #1 above aaannndddd OK it was more like an 8 mph wind).

It was great to meet you. You really did great shooting. And if I would have shot as good as you did today, i would have won.

That jar to the noggin actually settled the scope in. Did you see the first shot of the target above? and then the 2 shots AFTER THAT???? All that scope needed was a little nose attitude adjustment, and it straightened right up.

$800 with A2 muzzle device. Hasn’t been fired yet, but function checks fine. If anyone is interested I can send a parts breakdown.

Been a hellish week and I didn't sleep well last night since my alcoholic neighbors were up all night hooting and hollering.
