I go to the one in Austin every year, I skip the other ones... especially San Antonio, I heard it's a big waste of time

Austin is worth going to... it takes hours to see everything and there is a lot of variety, the other good thing about it is there are 2 buildings that have cars inside of them as well so you can take breaks and escape the heat.

I went to the heatwave last year and it sucked. It was all mall crawlers and lowered POS chevy 1500's.
Also, if you go, try to sneak in water bc its expensive there! Like 5$ a bottle.

The key is to enter your truck into the show. It is the same price as a 1 day ticket. Along with entering your truck you get 2 passes for the whole weekend and you can bring your truck into the gates.
I am planning on doing this and setting up a grill and having an ice chest of beer and water. Weekend long tailgate party.
