Ouch! That ring gear sure took a hit.

I'm guessing by your last post and the size of those leaf packs the truck is yours, silverback. I'm just wondering what caused the teeth to shear so badly..

And EquinsuOcha has the highest flying pre runner in central Texas. I didnt get any pics but it was witnessed by many that he actually got all 4 wheels off the ground while tearing up the hill that that became recovery practice for the 4x4s.

The video from my flight up Snoopy Falls will be up later tonight along with some pics. Right now Nicole is working on cropping and color-correcting the 200+ photos she took.

I forgot to tell yall about EquinsuOcha's fire fighting skills. Thanks for the help. When we pulled up to the house after wheeling there was a fire in the empty lot next to our house. With the dry conditions and as windy as it was it scared the shit out of us.

Not that big but could have been a lot worse.

This kinda shows how close it actually was.

You're welcome. I remember living out in the dry country and how fast those fires can spread.

Not sure what clines is. But I have a stock pre runner with the factore tires and I only got stuck twice. It was all tire the second time. So you will be ok.

When we got there the neighbors already had the hoses going so we drug ours over and did a little bucket brigade because our hose wouldn quite reach. The fire department showed up just as we got the last flames out. All they had to do was soak it down real good to prevent any flare ups.

ohh sorry haha i meant "at". as in "was this at Cline Ranch" but getting stuck only twice doesn't sound too bad. nice job putting out that fire too!

These aren't nearly all we have, I'll post a link to the rest once they're finally uploaded.

    On the road.

At the entrance to Boulder Creek.

Airing down so the Dunlops could grab more than they normally do...which isn't much...

The ominous view of the first hill. Where boys become men. Where respect is earned. Where three of us got stuck halfway up and had to be towed the rest of the way.

    Silverback making his way up.

Tex making it as far as he could. The hill claims the first of us.

Drifter gives 'er a go...but the hill says "No sir."

There was talk of certain lines that I should try. I should try to stay where the dirt was compacted. I said "Nay" and chose to fly. At about 37 seconds into the video is where I suspect we took flight. I remember Nicole yelping, so I looked over and saw her ass at eye level. That's when I slowed down.

Apparently, that hill is a No-Fly Zone and a handicapped parking space. Cause I got towed.

After that mess, it was smooooth sailing...

Until silverback decided to show us how to wheel. And by "how to wheel" I mean "how to break shit."

Drifter decided to take on the riverbed.

Everyone who came, minus my girlfriend (she's behind the camera)

    Speaking of, here she is!

It was a great trip. I wanna go again.
