Texas Overland, Where to?

Could all meetup on 90 since its pretty much the only way to get there if I remember right, then you cut south on 385 I think.

 

I won't be making it to gilmer but I'm sure there's a couple of people from Austin and San Antonio that would want to go to bend. Once a thread goes up we could get a rough count.

 

Your memory is good. 90 to 385 then south or 10 to 385 when you hit marathon.

I'd say the off-roading and trails if anyone out of state decided to join in. Either works

 

I'll write it up tomorrow at work. We can figure out dates and stuff. Hopefully when I'm not in school Lubbock to Big Bend will kill my non-existant bank account

Where are you going in Alabama? I know of an ORV park or two that support full size 4x4's but Alabama is mostly privately owned farm land and hunting land...also, big mud holes are on just about every trail I've ever been down.

 

Too be honest, no idea. Its far out in the works to my understanding. All I know is the leader of the off road club i'm in is in contact with the leader of A&M's off road club leader and heard Alabama mentioned. I mostly run trips for the underclassmen, as i'm just a freshman.

Hidden Falls Adventure Park. Primitive camping and regular pull up sites. It's about 30 minutes from Austin in the hill country.

A buddy and I are going to Big Bend next week for 3 nights.

 

there is a few of us on here that are trying to do a big bend run.

 

When? I may be down to go again after next week.
