Texas vs Mexico build quality

Any difference on where assembled? I would assume they are using the same components?

 

Been over this multiple times. They are the same.

 

Both built by Mexicans

 

I am a Quality Engineer for Toyota's sub assembly supplier DENSO (I personally do HVAC and power window systems) and both plants, components, auto/man assembly lines, quality standards are identical. Both Tacoma final lines have a ppm quality defect rate of less the 1 (parts per million). There is no difference. Been to both plants and I have checked out and verified final products from both. No worries.

They're spicier when hecho en mexico.

 

I prefer authentic Mexican tacos.

 

Same.... rear brakeline bracket is impossibly tight & Ubolts are finger tight...

if you are lucky, your Mexico built taco will have about 100lbs of weed stashed in it throughout.

 

How did you go from a boss 302 motor to a Tercel? I had a hatchback tercel in high school.

I think your eyes are playing tricks on you. The Boss motor was in the mustang. Are you viewing the thread on a phone?

 

Well you missed the freakin dash rattle I have in my 2015 DCLB.... They don't make them like they used to...

 

I looked at your past vehicles. 1978 you had a Ford Mustang and in 1990 you had a tercel.

 

And the seat rattle in mine and the oxidized tailgate handle and the thread coming undone on my passenger seat, all on my 2015 within the first 5k. Agree though they are the best among the manufacturers certainly not made like my previous tacos.

Next to the Mustang I referenced the Boss 302 motor. Way above that I mention a 1980 Tercel. Are you feeling ok?

 

So who do I speak to about the 37ftlb torque spec for U bolts ?? (I know this isn't your dept.)
