I've got a 4.10 rear and a 3.73 front laying on the floor.

 

Is it the 4.10 out of my 4 banger?

Very good. I am thinking i may try and get a trutrac and put it in there for my red truck, and then i can give you my 3.73 3rd out of that. Do you know of anything else that it might need? Curious if everything seems to be in good shape, or if there are any wear items that would be worth replacing? I can just take of my front driveshaft until im able to track down some 4.10s for the front, or i guess i could buy a 4.10 set of gears for the front and have you set them up for me.. thatd probably be the way to go

 

Just don't engage 4wd and no worries. Removing the front driveshaft would be extra insurance that no mistake is made. I can set up front gears if you go that route. As far as wear items, new bearings is a good idea, so master bearing kit would do you good. They cost bout $300 new, there's a guy selling a master bearing kit along with a 4.56 ring n pinion for $300. I'll find the thread and paste it here.

@Texoma Just pulled the trigger on the truetrac and master bearing kit for the rear.. Im already way over my black Friday quota, so the front will have to wait for now, but I will definitely have you help me with those when the time comes. Could you please check your schedule and see when you'd have some time to work me in for the rear install? As usual, i'll bring the beer! Thanks buddy!

I'd you want, have the truetrac and bearings shipped directly to me, and can have everything pre assembled prior to your arrival.

For sure man! ill let you know whenever chris is able to work me in. Should have the TRD tune for the truck by the end of this week, so hopefully that eliminates all my issues ive been having. Don't know if I posted it somewhere, but my ucon left me on the side of the road on Saturday night. I stalled it out at a red light, and then the damn thing wouldn't start back up and it threw more Coil pack trouble codes. I had to push it off the road and then reset the battery (for three minutes to reset the ucon) then it fired right up. Has me fairly certain that has been causing all my problems.
