New here.......bought my 2017 TRD Off-Road 4x4 DCLB and picked it up on 6/27/2017. I sold my 2014 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon.

I did a ton of mods to the Jeep, but it was time for a change. I have always loved the Tacoma, not sure why I waited so long to get one. Could not be happier with the new truck.

Got the bed cover installed today. It is an Undercover Ridgelander. A real quality cover, seals nicely and heavy duty aluminum top. This should work great for my RTT. I am very impressed by the cover, I would definitely recommend it.

Took the Predator steps off today.........waiting on my sliders. Looks much better I think, they sat too low. Also got some better pics of the ridgelander cover.

Are those ridgelander bars the ones that came with the cover? I didn't expect them to be wider than the bed. I have a ridgelander arriving this week.

Yes they are, I was not expecting that either. However, I have gotten used to them and I like the look. Also I have a RTT that will go on top and I think it will spread the load better instead of them sitting right on top of the bed rails. It will also give me extra room on the sides.

How well does the ridgelander support the RTT? Also I imagine that it cannot be opened while the RTT is installed.

No problem supporting it, I have it mounted now............the struts are not heavy enough to raise the cover once the RTT is installed.

Finally mounted the tent..............plan on keeping it on permanently. Moving to southern CA, I should get a lot more use out of it. Also threw a coat of wax on it.

SCS Ray 10's in Gunmetal ordered and shipping this week. Ordering tires today. I have gone back and forth on tire size. Landed on 265 75 16 Hankook Dynapro MT's. For my build I think they will work best. I had these Hankooks on my Jeep but 315's and they were great and wear was outstanding. This is my Daily driver. Plus I can always upgrade to 285 down the road.
