So, yeah, you should be good. Just get the connector above, a HU with an xm receiver built in, wire it up (color-match the wires :)), and you'll be all :headbang:

hmmm so that would make my $200 Toyota xm tuner i bought and wired under my rear seats useless? I would need to buy a headunit with a tuner in it, and then acvtivate that tuner?

If you have the tuner, then you could get away with a "satellite ready" unit, I believe. Again, I no haz, so I'm kinda wingin it ;)

Since you said you live south of Tyler, are you close to the Angelina NF?

BTW, Nice Fishing "Rock" Rack :D

I drill lots of holes in the Earth near the Angelina National Forest, and then your lights turn on at your house. :D

I live a lot closer to Tyler than Angelina tho.

I'm an oil and gas geologist. I guess the "rock" was just a slip. I always have rocks on the mind.....

Most of the area right around the forest is owned by timber companies. You could probably get some land pretty cheap that has already been logged I'd imagine.

    That sounds hard but cool.

I never thought about that. Plus not everything is expensive like Florida. Maybe the nice houses we saw were in jasper? It was a town in Angelina county but I don't remember the name. I just remember it was in BFE.

I think so. I think it was after we drive over the bridge. It was after a town. All I remember were nice houses and nice vehicles out in BFE. I figured they were expensive because hummers land rivers and mercedes.

:notsure: that area down there is fairly impoverished, generally speaking. The town you are thinking of is either Zavalla or Etoile, depending on what road you were on.
