The rears were $100 I think. Does ride better than stock with them.

I put off doing the TSB for a while because I thought it would be a huge hassle. But when I brought it in they just said "no problem, we just did one of these last week". They didn't even look at the truck!

There's a thread floating around here called "dealers who performed the suspension tsb". Check out what dealers around you have done them before and then you won't get them trying to argue with you, or make you load up the bed and prove it, etc.

i am a bit worried they'll make a big deal of it, so i was thinking of putting it off til i take my truck in for the 20000 mile service, then ask, maybe added incentive for them (so they don't feel like they're doing warranty work without getting something in return)-- plus it would only require one trip to the dealer

I just bought myself an '09 super white trd sport double cab and I'm looking to replace the grill. I found one that I liked but I was just wanting to know where you got the black vinyl valance from. It just makes the front of the truck look so much better.

I had some extra that was laying around that I got from edecals.com.

You can also get some from forum member sockmonkey. PM him for details.

Great looking Taco, question all you did was install the 5100's and it lifted your truck like that? How much did you lift the back? It looks level, where did you buy the 5100's? Great looking truck.

Thanks! The front is just bilstein 5100's at 1.75", stock coils.

For the back, I had the rear suspension TSB performed by toyota. That gave me 1" after settling.

Bought the 5100's from Down South Motorsports. They have the best prices and incredible customer service.

So I have a 2011 the dealer told me I am not eligible for the tsb, would I need to do an AAL to make sure its level?

They are approx 5.4" backspacing (9" wide, +10 mm offset).

They are about $300 a piece new  and only come in silver.

I bought some beat up ones on craigslist for $500 and painted them black.

Ha, here's an old one with a good view of the lake, pre-lift.

And here I am at the boat ramp

I work south of the loop in Tyler so I'm usually cruising 155 and Old Jacksonville.

Not too many modded Tacos in town. Only 2 that I see around. Some guy with a speedway blue and 6-inch procomp lift who never waves to me, and a silver one with black rims and 3" toytec, which my friend used to own.

    keith,

did your 32"s fit with just the front set at 1.75"? im going to be doing the same lift within the next few months, and am not going to be doing the rear tsb. did yours look weird, pre-rear tsb, basically just the front lifted? or did you need the rear lift to clear the tires?? im just trying to figure out what all i need to do to get mine to clear 32"s.i will also be running 5100's in the rear. i think the only difference between my truck and yours is mine is a 4x4. not sure if that matters on ride hight....

My 32's fit fine before I lifted at all. Lots of folks on here run 32's on stock suspension.

As far as the lift goes, when I had the billy's at 1.75 before the tsb, I was slightly nose-high.

They are designed to be used with the factory springs. If you want to level the truck out, with stock rear, you can set the fronts to 0.85".
