Dude is pretty childish and gets super offended when others have their own opinion regarding 4G.

I started a thread there about how many 5.7 engine failures I've seen and the 2nd gen Tundra owners got real angry

I'm keeping my 2nd gen because it's barely broken in at 150k miles. By the time it's finally ready to trade in, the 5th gens will be out!

Definitely miss my 2020 tundra trd off-road 4x4. The 5.7 was one of the greatest truck engines ever.

The 5.7 in my 1992 K1500 went 362,000 miles without issue. Then someone stole the truck.

What was the final repair they did? Or did they not get it back from Toyota yet.

It’s back. I haven’t seen anything except “the ADD”…they haven’t elaborated on what actually failed whether that’s the fork, collar, one of the splines, etc. My guess is the collar. The TFL guys aren’t very technical so I doubt we’ll get a good explanation. Or maybe they said what actually happened and I just missed it.

This is what I was referring to, wonder if the Hybrid Tacoma will be the same?

I've seen the Reddit posts but actually searching the manual yielding nothing of the sort.

As far as I can tell the Prius "not allowing" radios is unfounded. Just that one reddit post that's being used as the source for this guy too.

The Mazda owner showed the manual. The Prius owner probably misread the manual.
