do you still have to shift even without the rad designs mod. Or you just keep it in the first position

Can I ask how you wired the momentary switch to the RADesigns witing?

The factory OD switch is a momentary switch too so it was a wire in/wire out. Didn't have anything to do with the RADesigns wiring.

Oh so you’re not running the OD switch from RA designs as well? I thought you were using both

RADesigns doesn't come with an OD switch, at least mine didn't. You only get wiring for tapping into the trans solenoids for manual control, torque converter lockup control and manual or auto mode. I only wired in the manual/auto switch and the wires that tap into the trans solenoids. I actually sold the truck a couple years ago hah

How did you like the torque control lock up? My kit came with OD so when you shift to the right from 3rd it’s OD

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Technically it “should” bolt up. But I have no ra transmissions to line up to and check.

Hell the 5vz bolts up to the FWD e153.

I never got a chance to check bolt pattern and spacing

thank you. I always value and appreciate your knowledge.

What’s your thoughts on the 6sp vs the R150F in terms of reliability, feel, gearing, etc?

Honestly it’s probably not going to gain you anything since it isn’t an extra overdrive, just a granny low 1st. Reliability I’ve never seen me fail. Only throw out bearing issues

It also opens to window to AWD FJ cruiser transfer cases

Ah gotcha. Thought it would be an extra higher gear.
