It's not bad. I just built one with all the bells and whistles for $23,400. It'd make a good work car if I didn't have to lug tools around. I'd save half the price of the car in fuel alone the first year compaired to my FJ.

Although I'd buy a Mini before this in a heartbeat....

don't think it's that bad at all. people often find the updated styling to be ugly at first and then it grows on you...

40 mpg, 10yr/100k warranty, etc etc etc. Even the Tacoma doesn't cover everything for everybody. It's about having choices. Not the coolest and hardly the ugliest. Lovin our 2012 Elantra fo sho. Juke is way stupid uglier and same shit as a rogue. SSR = overpriced useless ugly 2 seater. PT = junk. But some people like them all and bought them, see how that works? Their choice. Some people don't want a truck some do. I wouldn't want a Veloster instead of my Tacoma but as a replacement for my 03 Protege5 at some point....maybe. Not anytime soon tho. Still likin my little Hiroshima buggy. Some hate those too but I couldn't give 2 shits because they don't have to buy one or drive it either. Mostly I think I'd need a black Veloster so all the weird plastic face stuff blends in.......if it ever makes the cut. Hell, the 3rd door on one side makes it less hassle than having a 2 door hatch if the back seat needs to be used. Do we need to hate on the RX-8s for having those too?

I would not buy one, but it is nice to see a company taking risks with design, and trying to change what a "normal" car is.

The same can not be said for Toyota with the Corolla and Camry, they look like shit, they drive like shit, their interiors look like shit, and they are all starting to look the same. A boring car for boring people, which sucks because Toyota has the reliability and quality to build a sweet sedan, but the Camry just sucks. And dont get me started on the blind people that desing for Scion... stupid boxes

Keep in mind that not everyone needs a truck/Tacoma. With gas prices I may go get a small car to commute to and from work, and 40mpg without a stupid 10 ton battery hybrid system sounds good. A manual 2014 Elantra is in my future, and it should do what I need it to do well.

Eh, not that bad, better looking than the PT loser, the Joke and the HHR imo. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go buy one, It looks like something a teenaged girl would drive.

On a side note, I think the HHR is as ugly as sin and it does nothing for me. But the thing I hate even more about them is the fact that Chevy people act like they are the best thing since sliced bread.

I would drive that but then again I don't get overly worked up about a completely irrelevant car like op. I'm sure there's people that dislike tacomas and its a good thing individuality is what makes life fun

If it was a dark gray or black with gray wheels and dark tinted windows it would look like a completely different car, I would rock that.

Theres individuality then theres people who buy the newest latest fads even if they are truely an abortion. This vehicle is just plain ugly. Sorry but i would not rock it.

it's ugly but anything short of the Rally Fighter is disappointing. looks like a decent commuter/grocery getter type car though.

I think it's pretty nice. I don't have any use for it, but it would be a pretty sweet car to have during high school and college. It would make a good daily driver too.

Went to lunch today at a place beside the hyundai dealership and there was one sitting there so I walked over and looked at it. Honestly not a bad looking car in person. Trying to see out the back might be a little difficult. If it were RWD/AWD I might be tempted to go take it for a test drive.
