He posted up a thread last night because his CEL came on.

And Jason, I suggest that you look for someone in your area with some kind of OBD-II scanner. That way you can find out what your light actually is and you can also clear it at the same time... Welcome to TW!

Hey man, I'm in Coatesville too, near the Brandywine hospital. I just joined too, well apparently I joined 2 years ago but I just starting being active. Sucks you missed the meet up on Saturday.

Anyway, I have a scan tool. So if you want to meet up sometime we can check that code and clear it out.

So am I we must be neighbors that is cool. I live at the top of the hill right across from the V/A hospital. We should meet up that would be cool I wish I made it to the meet. The next one I will be there. I hope to have something done to my truck by then as of now it is stock but I am still loving it.
I replaced the original cap and took the negative cable off that cleared the code for now I just wish I could get a locking one that does not set it off. I am sure I am just paranoid and nobody would even bother to mess with my truck but I would like to find one that works.

That's crazy, you're about 2 miles down the road from me. Small world.

Check the O ring/gasket on the locking gas cap and make sure it's sealing tight :notsure:
