having owned a taco that is more susceptible to frame rust than any other brand, he's likely well aware of how to deal with rust assuming he lives in an area where they use road salt.

Honestly I’ll take that over my frame perforation worries. Not that a domestic truck frame does not rot but it seems the Toyota sheet metal holds up better than domestic trucks and domestic frames hold up better than Toyota.
Pick your poison, they all have their issues.

I don’t know too much about how Toyotas new frames are built and different now since the known issues but I do know about GMs bed panels rust prematurely. It’s almost as if they’re doing it on purpose

Personally I’d pull the taillights and get in there with some fluid film. Saturate it until it drips from the pinch weld in the wheel opening.
    Do the rockers too.

It's the Flint water GM used to wash the panels prior to galvanizing. I'm an expert on this now after watching a few YouTube videos :homer:

As low as 10% humidity, except for monsoon season. So dry your skin/mouth/nose need to adjust if you move here.

There used to be. Drier than a popcorn fart these days. Might rain 5 days out of the year. Phoenix is recycling poo water for tap water, because the drought is so bad. Doesn't help that everyone from CA has moved here and brought all their baggage with them. Glad I'm leaving soon. :turtleride:
