    Hey all,

I'm the original owner of a 2007 Tacoma TRD Off Road. It's been an amazing truck on and off road. I just recently had to replace a wheel bearing and a steering rack (a seal in the rack started leaking after an interesting jaunt on a jeep trail). These are the only two issues in 14 years. But it's got me thinking that I should start freshening up a few things. Hence, joining this group for product reviews and suggestions. I need to replace another wheel bearing and am looking for better headlights (this will be the third set and I'd like to improve the quality). Then I'll likely upgrade the suspension and add rock sliders. Hoping the support of this group will prevent some missteps.

I also have a '69 VW Baja Bug project. I am currently extending the 6 point cage to the front beam, changing the caster angle and stretching the wheel base by 4 inches. She has coil overs and disk brakes on all four corners, suspensions seats....blah, blah, blah. She's nick named Humpty Dumpty 'cause she's white and I'll probably never get her back together again!

I'm in NorCal, the land of grapes and fires.

    Thanks for reading,

    Chris

BTW...the mountain biking here is awesome!
