many thanks to all members who have responded to my posts and questions its been great my next question is about the 4cyl versus the v6 the question is can i expect the same reliability and life span (mileage) with the 4cyl i understand the v6 is fairly bullet proof .

    I had a toyota pick up T100 4cyl
That had 223,000 miles on it. The engine was still good butthe body rusted away

    Still thinking about it.
I don't know from my own experience but I think alot of people would tell you that the 4 cylinder is even better for reliability. Big difference driving it though. About 100hp less than the V-6, so you have to be willing to let it rev and work hard.
