What do you do? Something new, or do you follow a tradition?

I work, unfortunately...nature of the beast. Prob head in around noon and leave sometime after 2am. Last year I was there around 4P, and left at 830AM. Haven't had a Tday off since 2005.

A little of this and a little of that.
Traditional turkey & all the side dishes. Pumpkin pie too. Usually watch the parade on TV. No additional family members joing us this year. Just wife & two kids.
I'm off from work this year. I've worked the majority of Thanksgivings for the past 25 years.
    Happy Thanksgiving to TW!

Gonna hop on the road for a four and a half hour drive to get home. Get to spend all week home with my family though. :)

Going down to a cabin Wednesday night with some friends for a movie night. Taking a girl shooting on the way down (she bought the ammo, :D) going to try and find some offroading in between the stops too.

Bought a bigger house back in April and we're cooking for the family this year. Never cooked for the family before - so, this will be a first. Only 11 people with over-nighters, its enough to make us frantically run around trying to get things ready.

I shouldn't worry...my family doesn't care. They just want to eat and drink and hang out!! LOL

Have a Happy & Safe holiday everyone!

Eight hour drive to a hotel near my grandparents on Wednesday. Driving them an hour to my sister's house for dinner on Thursday, then back again, then an hour to my parents house where my wife and I will stay until Sunday. 8 hours drive back home on Sunday afternoon. Been doing this for 10 years now. The older I get the longer the drive seems to be but it's worth it to be with family. We do essentially the same for Christmas only we go to my in-laws.

Usually follow tradition. Sleep until noon, go for a run, eat around 1400, go to work from 1800-0400 into Black Friday. It used to be perfect timing for all the holiday sales, but not since everyone started opening on Thanksgiving Day.

Hosting the family this year at my house. My wife's brother and fiance from NYC will be in, so we were nominated because we have more room. Plus we have a play room for my kids and my nephews. Gotta keep em out of trouble.

I work every Thanksgiving because of Christmas and birthdays for my family start in December and end in March so I could use the extra money. Still Boston Market for Thanksgiving lunch is better than what the wife makes. :anonymous: and it's free.

I plan to throw my wife beater on, pound some beers, shovel some turkey down throat and slap some bitches around all while watchen the game. Not Really!

I'm doing what I can to avoid the family, just trying to keep it small with the wife and kids. Thanksgiving usually stresses me out because a large portion of the family tends to drink a bit too much and it ends up being a drunken bitch fest (I have 3 sisters, 2 of which are a pain in the ass). So rather than waste half my day hearing my sisters complain about money, their husbands, work..... I'm just going to chill at home and enjoy a relaxing day with my wife and kids.

I think for the first time in a long time I'm actually going to enjoy this Tday.

Go up to my grams, have turkey and everything with the family and drink some brews, but go hunting in the morning and then shoot some clays and pumpkins before we eat.
