No I didn't get one with temp display. This one is only compass. I ordered used from RJP869 here on TacomaWorld. For a used mirror, it was mint. Private message him for info and details. The mirror included a harness as well so the entire install was plug and play and only took 20 minutes, maybe.

Great looking truck! Very nice start. I'm always a big fan of the details.

    I really like your setup!
I want to do something similar, but a bit more gradual.
You did a lot in a short time!
Was it hard to install the baja suspension, since they don't give you instructions?

Thanks! Things are starting to slow down now. Piecing together all the info from the 'Because Baja' thread wasn't too hard and didn't take much to figure out. That thread was very helpful and a great resource.

My color matched grill came in the other day so I thought it's be a good opportunity to take some pics.

    Thanks everyone!

I decided to de-badge the Toyota & Tacoma emblems from the tailgate today.

Oh, and a few months back, one night I set a beer on the back bumper by the license plate, the lower part. My girlfriend then decided she'd open the tailgate to unload firewood... andddd that was my first dent, a big one, with a perfect imprinted ring of the bottle's mouth. Went to my normal paintless dent repair guy because I knew if anyone could get it out it's him. Needless to say he did a pretty darn good job. You can barely tell if you let the light catch it just right.

I've had a few people ask how my alignment turned out following the installation of the Baja Kit, so I've added a photo of it. The initial measurement numbers are off up front because I installed the suspension using the 'no spring compressor method' which involves loosening the alignment cam tabs. Afterwards you can see it all came out in the green.

Took a trip to the NC mountains this weekend. Truck just hit 10k miles. We stayed in the Little Switzerland area but also visited Linville, Spruce Pine, Grandfather Mtn, and Blowing Rock. Had a great time up there and the truck did flawlessly. Also got engaged during the trip too, so I'd say all in all it was a productive weekend. Here's a few pics.

That's it! Thanks for looking. I finally have my sliders painted to hopefully I'll get those on tomorrow and have some new pics with those installed. Spent a few hours today just cleaning up the truck after the trip so it's back looking sharp.

Installed my Relentless Tailgate Reinforcement the other day. Very solid product. I added some strips of foam weatherstrip tape between the tailgate and reinforcement to limit metal on metal contact and reduce any possible rattles. Fitment was still overall very good. I had to trim maybe 1/8" of material from the rubber bump stops the tailgate closes against to allow for clearance.

    Reinstalled the factory tailgate panel

    IMG_20141015_153720_zpslolckae1_bc01e36f0cf9eb4cf52ab0f5c509bf9fb0f9304c.jpg

One of the Bumpstops I had to trim down. The extra thickness of the material made the tailgate difficult to shut and latch. Removing about 1/8" from these solved the problem.

Here you can actually see with the curve of the tailgate how close the plate comes at the center, compared to the gaps on the ends. It's not touching, and the material feels stout enough where short of getting hit with a blunt object I doubt it'll bend in over time. Overall it still looks good on the truck and give me more piece of mind when it comes to loading things or utilizing the tailgate.
