I left mine on. Didn't really feel like taking it off. It's up to you.

The '12 Jeep Wrangler we purchased had some problems. Not long after purchase I found the floor was wet. Also there was an outstanding recall and the steering damper was leaking shock oil. Certified pre-owned my ass. After it being at the dealership for 4.5 weeks of our total 5 weeks of ownership, we got out of it. The top was leaking water and the dealership was utterly incompetent in regards to fixing it, and actually made it worse. We got the GM to make the first month's payment since it was in their possession the whole time and traded it out directly for a brand new '15 base soft top in Anvil. We ended up with this one well below invoice. This is the color we both really wanted from the get go and honestly the soft top is easier to use on a daily basis. My fiance's happy so I'm happy.

Here it is after adding Rubicon shocks and 17/59 springs which gave 1.5 inches of lift. I also added Black Quadratec Moab style rims. These look like stockers but are 17x8.5 with 4.75" backspacing to fit 33's without rubbing or the need for spacers. Tires are 285/70/17 BFG AT KO2.

Here's a few pics from our camping trip back in May. We camped at the Mortimer, NC campground just off Wilson Creek. It was my first time in this area and we had a lot of fun. We even got to teach our dog how to swim in the river, which was hilarious.

We made the mile hike to Huntfish Falls which was awesome. If you're ever out here you have to go!

Hey @ThatguyJZ , I just pulled the trigger on a trd pro grille insert for my 2012, any tips on the install? Was it a simple insert swap or was there anything else involved?? Let me know when you can. And was there anything to note when taking the grille off and putting it back on? Thanks! :)

It was pretty easy. Just take all the screws out first and pay attention to how everything goes together. Take your time undoing the clips so you don't break them, find the right tool that works. I think I ended up using a really small screwdriver to pry them loose. Be careful with the weather stripping piece along the top and the order it goes back on.

This might help with the process of separating the two pieces:

Awesome truck man, one of the best looking rigs I've seen since joining. I just got my trd pro grille in and I'm going to get the oem grille surround done too. Looks so slick.

I have a 2015 TRD Sport 4dr Long bed. Im about to install a TRD Pro lift kit. Anyone have any experience with installing this kit on the long 4dr long bed tacomas? Any driveline issues?

Hi Crowder - there's a lot of cool info on this thread for what I'm planning to do i.e. Install a TRD Pro lift kit and an Icon progressive AAL. How did your lift turn out, and did you have any alignment or driveability issues with it?

Hey, Lift turned out great. I'm still very happy with it.

Here's a picture of my most recent alignment which was about a week ago.

Truck drives great, tracks straight, and doesn't vibe. Turns sharp and rides smooth.

Since the new Icon AAL's seem to address the clearance issues myself and some other members had on the driver's side you should be set!

I removed my Plasti-dipped 'Tacoma' badges today and replaced them with a set of OEM Black badges. The plasti-dip was starting to come up on the corners of some letters and was looking dirty, these should hold up and look better.
