Any of you following the seismic activity in the PNW region? Over the last week there seems to have been a lot of activity. Those are small reminders to me to make sure I have a plan and gear to get me through for a while.

    Thoughts?

The big one has been making the news every few years for decades. The seismic activity seems rather average doesn't it?

Yeah, been hearing about this since I was a kid. Been through 2 earthquakes here already. Although regardless, you should have some sort of food/water supply that'll last for several days.

I was in LV last week for the two quakes. I felt neither, and my wife was rocked by both at a different location. It was funny that the second one happened as I was boarding the plane home. The old lady in front of me was posting on facebook that the plane was rocking and swaying. LoL. Friggin' B737 / A320 will do that when folks are boarding and we were on a damn Embraer regional jet.

For prep, we have a 5gal jug of water and a large 10,000gal filter kit. Also, some basics stored with my camping gear and a decent supply of dried meals.
