I've driven a few Lexus IS models and the 350 F sport is a damn good product, I want one but I'd have to save up for a while haha. The quality of the materials inside that thing absolutley kills cadillac and BMW and it is a blast to drive. It just feels solid.

Toyota isn't really behind on tech on their latest releases, just the older stuff like the Tundra.

I drove one and didn't really like it. It was fast sure, but the interior materials look and feel so cheap. The Camaros V6 actually sounds really good for a V6, and this new alpha platform has car reviewers foaming at the mouth. I will have to drive it when I get serious about getting a performance car.

from what I've seen its about 7-11k more for a V8 looking at the 2015s

So like I could get the V6 for ~17k or the V8 ~27k for that year. It is a pretty substantial difference, I would rather get the 2016+ models because apparently everything about them is better. From what I see online with the 6MT the V6 gets around a 5.3 second 0-60 which is plenty to have fun with in my opinion.

The only 2 things to come out of Lexus that are worthwhile... and worth the money, are the IS-F and LFA. Short names for some extraordinary cars.
Toyota's trying something new with the C-HR but they need to step it up quick. I'm hoping the 4runner starts the ball rolling and the Tundra comes next, this "new" Tundra refresh is BS. The new Camry looks pretty nice but its still the same front engine front wheel drive bogged down stump as the previous generation. It may be sexy on the outside, but its a box of rocks on the inside.

False pretenses of wanna be "sports cars" :)
Kind of like BMW sticking "M" on a 240i and calling it a day, its either an M car or its not

I guess 470 HP V8s just aren't enough for people these days.

I watched a POV test drive with headphones and that 5.0 sounds disgusting when it shifts.

I drove a 228i and that was a fun car to “only” have 240 hp. That sucker pulled and I was shocked by the amount of torque it had down low too.

I’d want one if I trusted BMW

True but BMW vehicles seem to be plagued with issues. They aren’t cheap things either, like how the N20 in that 228i had timing chain issues where it would take a dump at low mileage.

I don't think Alfa Romeo is popular enough yet.
