That was only for postal Jeeps starting in 70 or 71 (I just read it but forgot)
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_DJ

Reading through apparently my Jeep is a 70-76 model.

Thanks, I think it’ll be really cool restored.
I was surprised how much room is in the engine bay, I wouldn’t want to hit rod it though because it feels “light”

    I believe so.

    Yep!

I had an 04, would have tried to keep it as a street car if it didn't have overheating problems

I literally just bought a 76 right hand drive mail jeep a couple weeks ago. Going to be a fun project. Obligatory pic of the truck and the jeep.

Mine has the 3.8 inline 6. The last thing I needed was another money pit but my neighbor said he was tired of looking at it and for $250 it was mine. It came with a spare engine, freshly rebuilt transmission, and a full set of drums and shoes.

    The IA isn’t a Toyota, it’s a Mazda with a toyo badge.

Also the competitor for a Civic is a Corolla (of which I own and would recommend not buying unless you want something very boring)

The new civics are ugly in the rear, but supposedly sportier than the Corolla.
