Yes, based off the Mazda 2. I've done my homework.

The ia doesn't have much to offer, not even a center console and around 50hp less than the civic. Civic gets better gas mileage and isn't far from price. If I wanted something that looked good I'd get a Subaru or the 86, I want a car i can drive to work cheaply as possible. Not into looks, I've got my tacoma for that

Cheap as possible certainly wouldn’t be a model from this decade.

Honestly I’d wanna keep this car much more if it was an LE and not an L.
I’d get the CVT over the geriatric 4 speed auto, cruise control, backup camera, and be able to unlock my doors with a button.

But peep those nice wheel covers

I feel like toyota is a bit behind. Lowest model civic is 6 spd manual or 6spd cvt.

Toyota seems to be sucking it up this decade....with the third gens and other probs

I like the 3rd gen honestly. The new Civic SI looks gnarly

Yup! It’s super clean in some areas, rough in others. There is a company that offers a fully rebuilt motor and transmission with all new crossmembers assembled on a pallet for $1700. Might just pull the cab off and do some body work and put the new drivetrain in while the cabs off. If funds allow for it.

I have driven a few autos and one manual, they certainly could be more powerful but its not like they are underpowered. Everything else was nice.

I drove the v6 6spd and i4 5spd back to back. Seemed the same till about 4k rpms, taking off in the v6 was hard for me.

Truck didn't feel like a midsize to me, happy with my 1st gen

 That’s usually the way it is.
I need to order rims, throttle cable, mail tray, some strobe lights to put in the back above the other lights, additional trans cooler, and some other small things.

Do your doors work properly? My doors don’t work and I’m missing some parts but I don’t know what they are, are there bearings that they slide on?

Haven't really had a chance to look at how the doors work yet. Mine work, little sticky, but they work. If you need pics of any door parts let me know. I also have a spare side and back door:D

That’s good that they work, if they have bearings a little penetrating fluid should help clean it up.
I may hit you up later in the week for some pics.
    I’m a little jealous

After about 4k rpms you could tell it was a v6.

But driving them around a parking lot with a 6spd, I almost killed everyone of them being used to that low tq of the 3rz and 5spd

I haven't got my hands on one and I don't think I ever will. They cost too much for what they are to me.
