Need some suggestions. Gotten the truck looked at by multiple shops, I know for sure timing chain seal is leaking, power steering pump is bad, and water pump squeals on top of the drive belt fraying.
Now I’ve also noticed my coolant is consistently low in the resi, which leads me to believe and the shops I went to to believe that there’s head gasket failure. Has anyone done head gasket job before, and how much with labor would you think it is? For everything stated and headgaskets, Sun Auto wants $5300. Trucks worth maybe 9-10k. If that’s too high, any info on swapping in a newer engine. Since my truck was made mid 2006, every shop thinks that Toyota was still using the older style block with the reduced sized water jackets on cylinders 5 and 6 towards the cabin on early model year 07’s. I’m ashamed Toyota didn’t include 07’s in there head gasket tsb cause this sucks.

I still go by my old college now and then and drop into my old class.

Yes, small towns are some of the best places to find girls, visit all of the local restaurants and talk to all of the waitresses you can, network.

I thought all trucks built in 2006 were part of that tsb? Trucks made in 05 and 06 were subject to the bad head gaskets.

My truck is an 07 built in June of 06... I’ve checked my vin, I’m not eligible at the moment, I may talk with my dealership and see what’s up. Most shops have been pointing to my passenger side bank which is inline with what I’ve seen others have.

I plan on making a few trips back, mainly for football games and tailgating.
And good idea, I'll just have to see

I know, maybe the interns and young engineers will be fun to hang with.

How many miles you at? Seems like a lot of repairs to do.

    I do.

But if I get a Mustang I’d be pretty happy. It’d be nice to go from 132 hp to 435

Oh absolutely true. I used to find myself backing off ledges quite a bit because I was scared to break it so far from home. Now I don’t give two shits as long as I can make it back to the trailer lol.

    U cute bb

    I had a 4 speed auto...

    I am too :(

Well the Supra whenever it finally comes out will probably be out of my price range, maybe one day. I want a fun car and when I tested the 'stang it made me feel some way, plus it was comfier and nicer than my corolla.
