    Has anyone here had to do the pinch weld mod on a 1st gen? My tires are rubbing at full lock right at the hump in the fender liner. I think that’s where the pinch weld is underneath?

    I'll be in souix falls/vermillion or I'd host out our house out there with access to the river. I usually take the UTV or 4wheelers out.

    I find it better after harvest time though typically

    Nah shifts fine. Got My speedo dead on so the trans shifts like stock. Just the heat. I’ve never seen my trans get to 190 in the pan. That’s unloaded, lots of city driving, with a cooler added.

    It is really fucking hot here though. It’s like 95 in the shade.

    There was a wrangler for sale around me not too long ago with a 5 Cyl Mercedes turbo diesel in it. Low miles and clean too

    I'm surprised your trans is that cool, mine was 190-200 mostly stock before I added a trans cooler (it's massive).

    I have a cooler. It’s takes a while but it will get up to 190 in the middle of the day. Cools quick from 190 though
