I should contact Amazon and see if all of my account info will stay the same if I change Emails.
I should look to see if any gun dealers/manufacturers have a student discount.

Talked to the Admissions Counselor today and I may not be majoring in Mechanical engineering, in fact I may be able to skip community college all together and get an Applied Technology BS which would (in theory) use my welding classes as technical classes and then the rest of the degree would be made up of Gen Ed classes.
I just contacted the university to schedule an appointment with their admissions counselor to ensure that I can chop 2 years off of my Bachelors.

I still haven’t made a decision about which truck to get. I’ve been reading a lot of issues with the new V8 and Ecoboost f150s.

Contemplating a 3rd gen Tacoma with a manual transmission. It’ll tow what I need. The 2020 Tacoma is getting a refresh. And it’ll also be interesting to see what the tundra is getting for 2020. With as much camouflage as they had on it, there’s some big updates for it next year.

I’ve also been looking at the new ranger.

I wouldn’t get a new Tacoma or tundra, I would heavily consider a ram before either of those.
    The new Ranger seems interesting.

I'm pretty happy with my 3rd gen with the 6spd, have thought about trading in for a Laramie 1500. It does what I want but the extra room and power from a full size sounds nice, not sure about 50k nice though

I've seen a new ranger, looks like a half Colorado with half the cash put into it. Cheap as fuuuu

Nothing new today seems to be reliable. I’ve driven enough Mopar at work to know I will never own anything made there. The Chargers we have fall apart and break down constantly.

Of all major manufacturers, I still think Toyota is the king of reliability. They may not have the most options or the fastest/most powerful engine, or the best payload/tow capacity, but I think they still keep their reliability lineage.

I haven’t been close up to one, but I think they look good with the right appearance package. The videos I’ve seen all show the interior pretty similarly laid out like my 2017 Interceptor SUV. I read up on the engine it has, and it’s a similar engine to what’s been in several ford vehicles. All point to a very strong and reliable engine. The only negative thing I read is that it is direct injected only, which eventually can cause massive carbon buildup on the intake valves, and cause issues.

I optioned out a XL f150 and compared it to the ranger, and I can get a lariat Ranger with every single option available for a bit cheaper.

Ram is separate from Mopar, it has been since 09, the ram trucks are much better quality than mopar vehicles.

Toyota’s fuel economy is shit, their interior build quality is average in my experience, and while their electronics are above average I’d rather replace sensors on a ford every 120-150K and have better fuel economy and a vehicle that is more sized to the tow rating.
Tundras are large for their rating.

They may be different divisions, but Ram’s are still made by Dodge and still use the same engines and transmissions as the Chargers, and I can tell you from experience, they are complete and utter garbage. Our chargers engines have all kinds of issues, so do the transmissions. The electronics on the cars are always breaking, and the interior parts literally break down and fall apart. After being issued several Dodge Chargers, and always having to down the cars for maintenance, I will never own anything with a Dodge badge on it. They simply don’t last.

And from my research, it’s not simple sensors you’d be replacing on a Ford series truck. It’s major mechanical problems. I’d rather get garbage mpg and never have to shell out money for repairs personally. And the 3rd gen Tacoma seems to get decent mpg for a truck.

Going from GA to NC going 70-80 I can get 18-19, 60 is an easy 22-23

And the power everyone complains about must never have drove the 3rz, it has plenty of power but you have to get up in the rpms to have it. Thinking about ov tune, supposedly fixed most of the power issues and delayed pedal response
