Discovered the FM and AM radio is not working on my F150s radio. I’m thinking they forgot to reconnect the antenna when they replaced my dashboard.

Also discovered a scratch on my windshield after they replaced the dash. Not sure if it’s into the glass or just the tint. Nonetheless, I’m not happy. The poor service manager at the Ford dealership is about to be verbally abused.

Nice. I’m not a huge 1911 fan but I bought this one awhile back.

I’m kind of disappointed cause my brand new gun already has an idiot scratch from the takedown/slide stop lever. Came that way from the factory apparently.

If you pay attention and are careful during assembly, it’s possible to not scratch the frame.

I literally just reassembled it without even coming close to scratching it. It’s really uncalled for. The company I ordered from said I have to contact S&W directly.

If it didn’t come from the factory, then one of the 2 FFLs did it. I bought it online and had it shipped to a local shop. The mark was there when I opened the box at my shop.

I don’t know why the shop would tear the gun down. It’s got the factory oil and doesn’t appear used.

Maybe S&W disassembles, cleans and lubes the guns after factory test firing?

I have to call S&W tomorrow and talk to them. I emailed the original dealer and they called me. I guess they spoke to S&W and stated I’d have to contact them directly.

I really just want all of my current bills to be paid, city jobs pay so little compared to welding.

It’s possible that they did it I worked at a shop and in the beginning owner was careless of how the store was operated and seen all sorts of shady shit go down. I’m sure it’s not hard to shoot a gun and then clean it up so it looks unfired specially a new one. I would call and try and get to the bottom of it and s&w should have good customer service just tell them what’s going on If anything they should take it in and have it refinished at the least.
