Mom and dad started a road trip up to Virginia last night and after about 250 miles turned around and came home because of mechanical issues, they fixed the mechanical issues today by buying a new to them expedition Max.

They hit a deer with it and have done an estimated 7K in damage to it within 12 hours and 400 miles of ownership
Driving through north east Alabama mom hit a deer, it damaged every door and panel on the drivers side. They’re replacing the headlight and doing a bit of rigging to keep the body pieces from moving (my uncle owns an auto body shop where they were going on vacation) and they’ll bring it back down here for repairs.

Anybody else in here take ice baths? I took my first one tonight after a run, water temp from the faucet was right at 68 degrees so I put some ice and ice packs in and got it down to about 62 degrees (still warmer than the recommended 50-55, but oh well) and after the initial shock it wasn’t that bad.

 

What is wrong with you?

I put my water as hot as it goes. That bish better burn me when I hop my big badonkadonk in.

 

I’m not sure, I stayed up until 5AM Sunday morning, went to bed and got up at 8AM feeling completely refreshed, watched some YouTube videos from Jocko and Ranger Jesse, went to bed that night realizing that I only ate one meal so I decided I would start fasting.
Monday I got some stuff done cancelled our cable so I put some of the money back into subscribing to the warrior poet society network and watched “Unstoppable Mind” which motivated me to do a short workout Monday night and then yesterday I ran just over 2 miles.
According to some research taking an ice bath (50-55 degree water) after a workout will help alleviate soreness, I didn’t want to mess up my fast by taking post workout so I did that instead.

I do enjoy a good hot shower also though.

A mistake on my part as well, I don’t know how to work the old auto pilot systems.
The dip shouldn’t be there, luckily it’s just digital fuel and time that it cost me.

I’m going to Kentucky Sunday, leaving Jonesboro for home tomorrow (7 hour drive) and then turn around Sunday and drive 9.5 hours to Kentucky. The only travel I have planned besides work travel is going to Cali in March for my cousins wedding, but hopefully fall this year I can go on at least a 7 day cruise.
