We'll just have to wait and see I guess :)

First gen Tundra's are okay, but I like the 2nd gens way better. If you want a small truck, go with a Tacoma :p

Haha, I'm a big dude. With the seat all the way back for me to be able to drive, there's no room in the back. Do you still have the dimensions for the box you built? If it'll work with the 2012 Tacoma I would totally re-create that box! I will be needing something soon haha.

The 12 valves were nice but they would be the only cummins i would ever get. The new 6.7 is good off the line but it doesn't have the horsepower to keep up with the Powerstroke v8. The 6.6 duramax is a dog no matter empty or loaded. 7.3's were really nice and reliable. How ever the Powerstroke 6.4 was the best motor for horsepower, the egr leaked and stuff but if you delete it then it is flawless and puts out almost 600hp with just a tuner.

I think the 7.3 power stroke was the best diesel engine ever made (just my personal opinion...don't fuck me over for it). The 6.7's seem really nice as well, but aren't as proven. I would never buy a 6.4 or a 6.0 though, even if the EGR delete and all that shit has been done. I wouldn't buy a Dodge, because I don't want to be apart of the "let's flip up our tow mirrors without pulling a trailer" club ;)

Ill agree the 7.3 was fords most proven best motor, but only my personal opinion (since my family owns one) the 6.7 is much better, and if you think about it its more proven then the 7.3. They used that from 99 through 02 and a little of 03. They have been using the 6.7 from 11 to now and don't plan on changing it. So it could be argued both ways.

As for dodge I have no plans on ever buying one, around here at least if you see someone driving one its an asshole blowing smoke for no reason and thinking he is the shit. Ford is also better since the government didn't have to bail them out :D

Properly done 6.0 > any other diesel.
Cummins may or may not be visiting the higher number F-series :spy:

What is "properly done"? Like bulletproofing them?

I'm buying a woofer for the ol' 2012 here pretty quick. Put subs in your truck!

The 6.7 sure is quiet. I personally like a good sounding, loud ass diesel, but at the same time I wouldn't put mine like that. I'd rather have a quiet diesel. Around here the Cummins trucks all blow smoke too. Those are the same ones with their tow mirrors flipped up. God, that pisses me off haha

They look more normal when they're flipped up IMO.

Personally I like a quiet engine but a nice exhaust. There is a guy around here that has a 12 valve cummins and he wanted to race me one time I was driving our 6.7, beat him so easily then he just took the next light and turned off. He also bought an OBS 7.3 ford with dodge tow mirrors on it. Pisses me off

Idk how I would mount the sub's to keep the seating at 5. I don't ever really seat that many but I do at times.

I would only want mine to blow smoke if someone behind me pissed me off :D I'm not a bug fan of how diesels sound I like me gassers haha

The 6.0's still blows turbos a lot. Ive been on the powerstroke.org forums and have seen a lot of guys say that even after bulletproofing them, so they switch to 6.7's. Plus even completely stock the 6.7 has more hp/torque than a 6.0 with that tune.

That's where the EGT/turbo timer comes in, if you let the oil properly cool you won't go through turbos, we went through 3 turbos under warranty before one of the old timers told dad to let it idle before shutdown, then we've never had another turbo issue.

so they switch to 6.7's. Plus even completely stock the 6.7 has more hp/torque than a 6.0 with that tune.[/QUOTE]

But it doesn't have the emissions BS that the 6.7 has, and no DEF required.

If it helps you see better :notsure:

But on the dodges they look better || than _ _

I heard the best sounding diesel the other day, it was a ford, it sounded awesome. Not the normal diesel groan/whir,

V8's sound good with the right exhaust, I just prefer the burble of a diesel over it :)

I heard the best Matt the other day. Wasn't u tho... </3
