You need to drive more :)

    69..lol

Ohh yeah. I still haven't decided where to mount my CB in the cab (really don't want to drill a ton of holes) but I've found the shortest route to go to get the wire at least into the cab. 18 feet SHOULD be enough for me. I know anything shorter/longer then 18 feet can interfere with the radio performance.

I'd take a regular cab over everything, but if I had to have the extra space I'd go with the DCLB. Although before I'd buy a DCLB I'd just fork over the rest of the money for a 5.7 Tundra haha

Well... to be honest, i wanted an access cab really bad when i started looking, but i stumbled across a sweet deal on my current truck... only regret is its a tight fit in most parking lots.

I originally mounted mine to the lower center dash, right above the 12v outlets, but in hindsight, take that lower cubbie, the one right behind the cupholders, dremel the back out and place it in there... much cleaner looking and you dont lose any cupholders or 12v outlets like me.

yeah... the DC is nice, but the 6 foot bed is a must for me, i need the space.

It was owned buy a really old guy who babied the hell out of it but drove it everywhere and had family up north and traveled a lot. I got it at 200k and it was IMMACULATE not a scratch on it. Carpets were still in plastic. Oil was changed more frequently than needed and he got new air filters every oil change. Tons of little maintenance things were kept up with. Garage kept. He had it up for sale and after talking to him he found out he had pancreatic cancer and was going soon and needed to sell it to make it easier on his family. I bought it on site for his asking price.

Yep. Bought the wrong mount. Oh well, now I'll have ditch light brackets to put some lights on. Really wanna try mounting KC Daylighters...anyone ever try this or do people just put the LEDs on?
