depends... main thing is if they hit the windshield when you lift the hood... if it clears than you can mount anything on there

Yeah I sold my prerunner for 15k with 240k miles on it to my little brother and then bought my 4x4 with less miles for 10k and my scout for 5k. Best deal I've ever made

Nah.... Toyota engines dont break down until 700-800k if only the basics are taken care of... IIRC there was a test done that showed a 1GR-FE could be run to 50k with no fluids in it at all, and was only showing minor wear and tear.

The prerunner is at 260k now and my brother is far from a gentle driver. The power stearing is on it's last legs but that's minor. My 4x4 needs a wheel and a needle bearing. Still minor. And my scout needs nothing lol

yeah... then again those aren't Toyota designed products either, the Power steering and bearings are parts made by other companies that Toyota uses.... out of all the things that do fail on these trucks, id say 98% of them aren't designed by Toyota engineers.

That's it? That's the whole story? At that rate you only managed a character every 25 seconds!

I'm gonna upgrade the needle bearing but unfortunately everything else will be "OEM"

I don't go by KBB, it's good for a reference but I don't rely on it.

It was really hard to type that, it's a rough spot in my life right now :(
