    Middle leaf.
That's what I'm thinking ! But I'm also thinking about selling my truck and getting an older taco plus a car. Ahhhhh plus I don't have that kind of money at the moment.
There is an updated part but no recall as far as I know!

if you don't plan on lifting for a few years (like me) get the 3/1 (2012-2015) TSB leafs. They are one leaf stronger than what we came with stock. You shouldn't have any trouble with them.

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
I pulled a big ass sand hill that my buddy had to lock his yota on 38s in 4x4 last night. Although I had a little more room the second try than he did haha

I think I'll just see what I can do to lift it. I wanted to lift it in September/October anyway! The pressure is on!

Half the trucks on TW don't have mud flaps, and they're fine. Looks WAY better without them, and if I do get chips touch-up paint will do the trick.

The front mudflaps on my truck got ripped off while I was wheeling, twice haha once each side.

The stock 2nd gen ones are really stiff and low to the ground. I prefer the look without the flaps in the front.

I do plan on making some smaller rubber ones though, to avoid sand blasting the cab.

I live in the city too, during the winter here they salt/crusher dust which flicks off the tires onto the cab. It can get violent.

Most of the trails I go down are coarse dirt/sand/rock type of deal.

I fully agree, they look so much better without the flaps. And my truck looks taller without them in the front.
