Why waste money with something other than a lift when you know you are going to do it down the road..?

My tires are stock size ATs and are brand new. No me gusta lift on stock size tires. So currently i have a 50k tire that i'll probably get 25-30k out of (i have about 5k on them now) and that should be about the time i'm out of college. When i'm out of college and in a job of some sort, i will dump into the truck like a mad man. Sticking to smalls for now. I just want better than stock for now. We are headed for me just saying the hell with it and replacing with stock. :(

There is also the fact that i still commute in the truck and it spends 80% of its life on road. Also, i don't hunt in the gnarly places that i did and back then it made sense to lift and armor. But now all i have is shale hills and dirt roads pffffft

When i lift, i want just enough to clear 33s. Whether that be 2.5 or 3" i have no idea. I'm still new to all this shit and sure to be indecisive about it for some time.

If i could do a whole 5100 set up for less than $500 instead of spending $1200-2000 on 2.5-3" of lift that i'd just wear out commuting, i think i'd be more wise to go with the tried and true stock or billies.

This is with nothing done to the rear and just my foxes and superbumps on the front. The red truck is my old prerunner on a 2.5 inch spacer lift and 285s

I'm gonna add heavier coils because of my bumper and then crank them up to full lift when I have all the parts in for my rear lift

I'd say just get the heavier coils without the crank. some rake is fine- the more you preload, the less travel you have

I'm going to use the ext travel 5100s for now until I save up for longer fox rears to use with my shackle flip

If it becomes a problem I'll go back down but for now I'm pretty set on going up a half inch
