My Celica rims were gunmetal metallic. I'm not sure how good it would look on a white truck though.

I'm also thinking about painting my fender flares black.

Dip the flares....do NOT paint them. People will pay decent money for good painted flares. Just get basemodel ones and paint them black if you want that look....

As for the wheels....stormtrooper that shit. I passed up on two white tacos to stick with mine and either one of them would've been FULL stormtroop :D

Gunmetal is sexy on super white. I need 4.5 backspace to fit my 35s so I need new rims lol. The only thing stopping me is finding out if I can add rock rings

Less than that I think. I want the least backspacing possible so it doesn't look retarded

A guy my Dad used to work with at the Lexus dealership was over today and was surprised my truck was 4cyl with white flares. I can paint. maybe I should go for a mosaic look and do some abstract-trippy-LSD trip shit on them.
    FUCKING TIEDYE
    I'm still thinking about it.......
I don't get the whole backspacing thing.. What's the difference between backspacing and offset?

I want bedlined flares. I've got an idea to mount stock flares better and I can take them off whenever I want without fucking it up. and to bedlined just under the door panel

Wheel offset an[IMG]d backspace measure the same thing but in a little different way. They tell you where in the wheel well a particular wheel will sit.

Offset is a measurement in millimeters from the backside of the mounting plate to the center line of the wheel. A positive number puts the mounting plate further away from the backside of the rim. A negative measurement moves it closer to the backside. Since offset is based on the center line, the width does factor in. That is to say an 8-inch wide +45mm offset and 7-inch wide +45mm offset results in a 1/2" difference in wheel positioning. The 8-inch wide will be further into the wheel well. To gain a better understanding of the offset of a wheel, read our tech article on this topic.

Backspace measures the distance from the mounting plate to the back edge of the wheel. The higher the backspace the further into the fender well it will sit.

Confusing? It can be. The good news is Tire Rack takes care of all the guesswork for you. When you shop by vehicle, we'll show you options that fit your vehicle. In some instances, there may be a fitment note explaining any potential issues, but in most cases no modifications are needed. - See more at: http://blog.tirerack.com/blog/hunte...eel-offset-and-backspace#sthash.R2qEPQkD.dpuf
