Love my underarmor base layers. I just need to buy a good jacket, but nobody sells anything but hoodies that fit me

Otherwise I just wear my AF issued thermals, socks, and boots.

I am an odd torso size as well. Regular lengths can be too short and the arms not long enough and tall sizes can be like dresses and the arms be just a little too long. Its all in how the brand builds their clothes. Columbia and Duluth fit me very well. So x2 on the Columbia Brent.

My LL Bean shirts have become too short even though everything else still fits fine :(

    Time to start looking
Yeah, really everything but shirts are hard for me to find. Which is why I've only bought new clothes once in the past two and a half years haha

I wear shirts and pants until they get a hole or two, turn them into work only clothes and wear them another several years until they look like a cheese grater attacked them lol

Yeah, I've shopped there a few times and can almost always find something that fits.

My problem is making myself go shopping. I go to a couple stores, get annoyed when I can't find anything that fits, and give up haha
Same here. I'm down to only 5 pairs of jeans, and all of them have a stain somewhere on them. Pretty much all of my clothes are my work clothes now. I think I have two polos and a button-down shirt.

Speaking of clothing.... im after what i guess is a weird item. i need insulated gloves, but not like ski gloves, something more like work gloves... and it needs to be in a realistic price range, $100 for a pair of gloves is a bit bonkers IMO. all i can find anywhere are giant ski gloves or uninsulated work gloves... nobody makes anything in between it seems

I just bought new jeans. Its very annoying having to switch from good clothes to work clothes every time you want to work on something lol.

Try looking for Elk or deer skin gloves with fleece lining.

These look like a good candidate.
    http://www.amazon.com/Carhartt-Gore-Tex-Windproof-Waterproof-Insulated/dp/B005I33K5Q

I have some no-name gloves that were issued to me and they work really well up until about 20 degrees.
And that's how all of my clothes became work clothes haha
How? Do you wash clothes ever couple of days?

that price though.... and do you happen to have a picture of the gloves you were issued? The military issue pants ( not sure what the designation is any more) have by far been the only ones that survive more than a month before i wear holes in them or have the buttons come off, so i figure if the pants hold up, everything else will too

You'll have that. I have a hard time with gloves because my fingers are short. I can get a large pair of gloves and they are very hard to get on but the fingers are almost short enough OR i can get an XL pair of gloves and they will fit on nicely but the fingers are a half inch longer than my fingers
