In other news, Spieler finished putting the final touches on my new bedside decals today. I got the final proof. Can't wait to throw them on the truck! And this Friday I'm ordering LED headlights. Sick of the yellow halogens

IMHO I cannot stand all the Macco paint jobs out there where people don't do jams and engine compartment

 

Macs are good, just a bit high for me and I don't have respect for the company. Not that I run a background check on everything I buy, but some companies just turn you off.

What decals did you get?

I don't want to show you guys any pictures until I "officially" pay for them, just in case something falls through and I don't buy them or whatever, legally the pictures aren't mine so just to be safe I won't post the pics until I buy them. However, they're white with a black shadow and it's the regular "SR5" decal with "Toyota Racing Development" on the top and to the right is a picture of Nebraska with "...the Good Life" in it. Underneath the Nebraska it says "Heartland Edition". Spieler did an amazing job on them!

 

Very true. If it goes green it'll have the door jambs and all done. But I think white will be easier. But this green is less common since everybody wants white now

 

You like Nebraska that much more than Michigan?

 

I do like Nebraska more then Michigan. But I also wanted something super unique to the area, and also something that no one else has

 

On a daily vehicle, white is the absolute best possible color their could ever be. Doesn't fade, easy to clean, doesn't show dirt like any other color, stays cool, and always looks good....even covered in mud.

 

But what if you move? Maryland is my home but i wouldn't really want Maryland on my truck forever if i moved :| idk tho

 

I'm not moving haha. Nebraska will be my home until I retire and move to Montana.

Nope. I was born about a half mile from where I live now haha. I moved to Michigan a week before I turned 7. Moved back out here just after I turned 18

Understandable, and they sound sweet. I am looking into getting custom vinyl decals down the line. Maybe after I add a locker so I can add "offroad" or "all terrain" to the decal without being a fake.

Everybody, feeler: My truck is black sand pearl. Matte black decals or dark gray decals? Which would look better?

 

Dark gray if you really want me to pick from those two, but I would go with a lighter gray or something lighter so decals stand out better.
