I want 255s but i don't really want to buy enough lift to fit them....and end up chasing vibes and doing longer brake lines....

I just want my suspension to be better, to have more clearance, and my truck to remain reliable.

 

I really like the idea of 255's, less rolling resistance and more ground clearance, I may see if I can make up the difference in work.

 

All you need is maybe a 2" lift at most, you can run em stock if you feel like a man....

 

Says the guy that doesnt want to lift....You must've forgot. Its a worthless 2.7...remember? I buy wtf I want to buy. I use my truck like a truck, I'm sorry I don't want big ass tires slowing my truck down. Mpg Yea, it'll hurt me a bit. But getting passed by a lawn mower isn't my idea of my dream truck...

while we're on the topic of weight savings....is it aluminum? It better be or that 2.7 will explode pulling the next hill you encounter because of all that excess weight.

Nope. Steel. 110lbs on stock coils, lowered it 1/2" in the front. I've drove probably 60miles so far, seems like its not Even there.

Naw, you ain't missed it. All my buddies give each other shit and don't know when to stop. So far, my bumper is tinfoil. Uncentered cause of the winch mount. Ugly. Horrible paint job. Overpriced. And think its funny that it took 5 months.

 

So far...4 people have said it looks good excluding family and myself. Everyone else talks shit.

 

I genuinely like it, sucks that it took so long but we kind of knew it would.

Hopefully you'll get some coilovers up front soon. Or find a nice 3.4 first gen to swap your parts too and trade up.

I know you are kidding, that's what my friends do. Everyone of them. When I first drove to school with it I had a whole group of people around it "kidding" with me. Just really gotten tired of it lately.
