ARB specifically states no cutting. Hmmm

I need tires. I have one with a patch and after that cunt Irma came through it knocked a bunch of roofing nails off and the same tire I have a patch in found one literally the next tread block over from the 1st patch. It was too close to patch it so it’s got a plug and I don’t trust it.

So I found a post of a guy that installed an ARB on a 98. ARB throws these little black box ends that are supposed to bolt into the end of the frame. I guess on the 98-00 you don’t use those pieces, and the brackets bolt right to the truck. Looks like cutting may not be needed, but I am looking into the end cap mod for my frame.

Spent 5+ hours replacing the brakes on a ghey Silverado. Calipers are a horrible design, nothing went in to place easy. Then in less that a mile the rear disc cracked and fell apart. So glad I have a toyota
You guys have those weird frames. Any pictures to show what you are working with?
I don’t have any pictures, but I do have this.

    http://www.expeditionswest.com/equipment/tacoma/arb_bumper.html

From what I read from the guy who installed one on his 98, he didn’t need to use the 2 frame extender blocks.

Cold beer, good food, a campfire, friends, and wheeling. Doesn't get much better than that!

well sounds like you have had unusual issues with your tires too though or its the wheeling

What size are you running that leads to having a hard time replacing?
