    They may put out a lot of power, but I wouldn’t call them near reliable. We use them in our patrol cars. They have plenty of issues with turbos. They only get good mpg without a load. Hook any weight to them and the turbos suck fuel. A 5.7 in a tundra would outlast an eco boost engine 10 fold.

    Not an f150 but we tow ~8K with moms expedition with the ecoboost and it gets 7-8 mpg, tundra would probably get similar loaded, ecoboost beats the tundra by a mile empty.

    Outlast, absolutely, the 5.7 is equivelant to a small block Chevy where-in you could park it for 10 years, come back, change the oil and fuel filters and it would probably start up, the ecoboost would probably start up as well but not be as tight.
    As far as useage outlasting (I.E. running them till they drop) most likely you would wear out the vehicle overall or be tired of it and trade it in before trading it out of necessity.
