    Back when I was in the HIN scene, I remember people using these to lower their cars just that much more when they got to the show....ha oh man! If they would've just put the money into a nice suspension...

    When I was in HS, kids would go get their stock coils cut short. That was a terrible idea, too. Oh, and don't forget the ones who just took their car to a shop and had them heat the coils to lower under the weight of the car. How did all these people not die in fiery crashes?

    Ok, i'll admit that when I was 17 and less worldly about things automotive I tried using those to jack up the rear of my 1979 Celica GT. Suffice it to say it didn't work well. But back them, pre-internet and all, those were a solution that a hopeful young moron could find at Pep Boys.
