agreed about the fuel without ethanol, mileage seems a bit higher per tank without it, it seems to somewhat balance out the extra few $ spent

Uhg. Thinking about switching it up too, which is just sickening to think. Said I'd keep this truck forever - which is why I bought it new last July... but power. It was absolutely miserable on a 1600 mile trip earlier this month, I honestly thought we'd be descending significantly in elevation being in AZ, but oops.. frequently hitting 6-7k feet on the interstate and absolutely struggling. Add any wind and you're going 45. Still maintain that it feels just about the same as it did stock, just hard to get along at higher elevations robbing power significantly. Makes me tear up to hear my truck screaming so loud that I can't even shout a conversation to someone, 4500rpm and still losing speed..

Btw hagen, tried to build 2014 tundra, no 4x4 on regular cab? Uhhhhh naaahhhhhhh. Also appears as if they equipped even the automatic regular cab with the same bench seat found in my truck, I wonder if it reclines...any...

 

Just got some bigger tires put on my stock steels. Nothin fancy, but such a huge improvement from the 215s

 

It is a photochopped 4runner and not a very good one at that... I doubt they would make the tacoma look like the outgoing 4runner

Do these attach to the seat in any way? If so, easy to disconnect to fold the seat forward?

 

It's supposed to be used with a lap belt type seatbelt. I didn't like the whole seatbelt holding it so I used Velcro to hold mine

 

How did you use Velcro?

I removed my center belt long ago, I have mine strapped in with an old 1.5" webbing strap and a Fastex buckle, "all back" getting behind the seat is limited but its easier once you release the buckle folding the console,

I even thought about trying to find an older model center seat belt in a junk yard, that way it's grey, all I need is the long end,

 

I literally just took some industrial strength Velcro and put it on the seat underneath the clutter catcher. The felt on the bottom of the clutter catcher sticks to the Velcro and mine hasn't moved at all.
