KWFM .... You gotta do it!

Hey, I am thinking about putting TRD black wheels with 245/75 16 Duratracs on my RC. What do y'all think?

Debadged, took off front mud flaps, prevent tailgate theft mod, Magnaflow 18" muffler, Bilstein 5100s front and rear w/ front @1.75, wet okoles, plasi dipped front emblem, weathertechs, scangauge, toolbox, Bed pocket lights, BHLM, T1 eyelids, BAMF sliders, Bruteforce Fab rear bumper
Would look good, but IMO our trucks look much better with 265/75/16s over the stock 245s

Did 5100s in rear today, had been 5100s up front @2.5" on stock springs, and wheelers 3 leaf pack in rear on stock shocks for like 8,000 miles.

    The difference is mind blowing.

And F wiring up trailer on trucks that didn't come with tow package, aka most of us in this thread I'd assume. I couldn't wrap my mind around 4 flat connectors providing brake lights when you only have park and turn signals. Hours later, appropriate adapter spliced in.. fuck, I installed my shocks in 30 minutes and trailer harness in 3 hours.

Wiring is fun isn't it, lol....

    I feel your pain man,

I have a Curt hitch under my RC rear bumper but no plans for ever needing a trailer.

    Thankfully, for now at least...

Scored these for an AMAZING deal, 20 bucks.....

Slightly used but I washed and dried them on delicate and they turned out great.

Not waterproof but for 20 bucks and I work in khakis and a polo 5 days a week, they will protect my bench until I can figure out if I want to trade for an auto w/buckets...

Also here is my Curt receiver, I chose it also because the end plates are welded all the way around and the cross bar is not left open, just liked the design I guess.

You can't beat the deal I got. Found it on eBay for like 120 shipped free,
I couldn't justify what Toyota wanted and I just needed it to attach a snatch rope/tether to.

Works like a champ, could have been a tad easier with another set of arms and hands to install but you never remove your bumper so I just had to muscle it into place.

The hitch/shackle mount was from the Sales Forum, shackle from Northern Tool up the street,

I added a Curt locking pin to the adapter though, the shackle pin needs a pry bar to be removed, I am not to worried about that.

I learned also to leave it on, as literally twice within 30 days from getting the adapter and shackle I got bumped pretty good a two traffic lights,

My shackle showed no signs of any trauma, however both cars had holes in their front bumper covers, MWAAAHAHAHAHA

This is my front hook/recovery point, It took me a while to locate the right model/year off road model and I had the guys at Toyota order me the part, with the right mounting bolts also as the factory ones are to short. You can see in the pic, it would have been found lacking! Lol...

Good plan, something I should have done when I got my truck. Wife sat in gum and some black crap, which ended up on the seat. Drunk and pissed, she put a cig hole in it too :angrygirl:

Well.. it rained today. Today was 'move all the heavy shit out' day.

I had reserved an open trailer from uhaul. What a terrible day. Truck did great though, hitch didn't fly off. Pretty happy. Forked out $40 for some ratcheting straps from walmart instead of the cheapo $15 ones. They still sucked but held cargo in for 60 miles. Some of my bungees I was using to secure the tarp let loose and probably shot to the high heavens, hopefully didn't hit any other motorists. Tarp rings absolutely destroyed a nice wooden dresser I was moving. Awesome.

Ha thanks man, no Monday woes though with today fresh on my mind

Definitely need to get a shackle though as I have no plans of towing again and need to utilize the hitch somehow :D

So my cheap little seat cover has been trying to lift on the front corner,

    The awesome 4 dollar fix,

A set of Irish Kilt pins on the cover and a nice zip-tie to the seat rail and then after cutting the end off you rotate it under and out of the way,

    Wohoo!!!!!

My g/f always is saying I should have been an engineer, hahah

Oh and dang it, today at the dealer they had to lube the parts they replaced last week as they were pretty dry and squeaking like crazy,

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/T71FHBhYoXQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

They got it repaired in less than 30 minutes for me,

I had a chance to sit in a used 2011 with the auto tranny and buckets and crap the buckets are way more comfortable than my bench,:-(

I am SOOOOO wanting to trade.....but I must wait, they will get no more 2013s but I may be able to look into a 2014,
