I will say a RC, with a flat bed and shortened frame just looks SEXY as all get out...

You can shorten it. You would have to cut a section out of the frame and weld the to ends back together. Would be sweet but I like my bed space

I've seen people shorten frames from the middle you just have to notch the two ends of the frame that are being welded back together then box the frame for more strength

I wish I had a little extra $$$$ to mod the Taco. But my son's speech and physical therapy bills are $40 per visit x 2 or 3 times per week. I just get the basic necessities like tonneau cover, cargo divider and intermittent wiper. Next mod might be fog lights or cruise control. For now, I will just drool when I see some of the single cabs with mods.

Just received my Avid bolt ons today:

Brandon did an excellent job with the fabrication. Great product.

    Dang, those are nice....

I actually though about some bolt on "sliders" and removing my mud guards, I figured the sliders would keep enough crap from tearing up the sides of the truck.

Hagen, do you mean filling in the gap between the tubes?

I guess I could always keep the rear flaps too.

Are those for an RC or an AC?

I have even looked at the factory Steps for our RCs, just with thoughts or removing my mud guards,

If anything i could trim the crap out of the front ones,

I saw an AC the other day on the freeway and the pass right front was cracked and flapping backwards in the wind, I felt bad for the man. It was still bolted on but flapping away.
