don't do it if youre going on the highway.

i was thinking a welder would tell you if its good or not. The part snapped as designed by bilstein. perhaps the welder would be able to make it stronger than it was originally.

How much aluminum have you welded?

are you a welder or do you weld?

Like i said don't do it. If you're just rolling around the farm i would take it to a welder and see what they say, personally, but i wouldnt take it on the highway.

    Say it out loud again...

    Welding on a fluid-filled, gas-pressurized reservoir.

Also looks like the piston rod is bent or broken. There's no fixing that.

Love all these RC's. I've got a RC 93 t100 v6, mostly stock. My mom had an 05 Tacoma 2.7 4x4 RC 5spd manual but sold it for a Harley, but then bought a 2012 Tacoma 2.7 4x4 AC 4spd auto. Love Toyota's!

It's unique. Was looking for an extended cab tacoma but ended up with a t100. I think my moms 2012 2.7 4x4 acsb tacoma has more power though. I still love my truck!

Yeah the 3.0 motors aren't hot rods.

Is your truck 4x4 looks like it sets up pretty high.

yea you can aim them however you want, the mount that comes with the lights is very adjustable, the hood hinge brackets has no adjustments just mounting the bolt
but if you loosened the bolt and turned em left or right it'll work just as good

Yes it is. It sits higher then my moms 2012 (stock) 2.7 4x4 acsb but lower then most full size trucks you see around town. Goes like hell down small trails though!

Anyone know when to change auto transmission fluid? I got an 08 with 48,000 miles. I am more worried about a time interval than mileage.

    Thanks

Ps- I have the original factory fluid in the truck currently, its never been changed

If you don't tow, anywhere between 30 and 60k is good for the 2.7 with Toyota T-IV.
The 4.0 with WS fluid is good for 60-100k... Toyota used to claim lifetime.
