I'm sure they'll be nice, but c,mon. I'll pass on the first model year of anything GM. My boss's Colorado has been in the shop four times since he's had it and he's had it since 2005.

True, thats the only thing that I would be weary of. My ex father in law had a first year colorado crew cab. Great truck but fell apart at 50k, hoping they get it right with this one. I haven't liked a GM midsize since the S10.

BTW great shot with Millertime, trucks look great!

Guy I know bought a mid 90s fwd regal with 100k miles for 1200. It was a granny car and still.really nice. Had the 3800 v6, well he beat the shit out of the car for.about 130k more miles til it finally blew up and he drove it across scales at the scrapyard with the motor knocking. It would boil smoke off.the front tires and idled down the highway to, so it got decent mpgs. He used to e brake it alot and snapped 3 or 4 cables while he had it and had to. Im pretty sure he replaced the brake shoes for the ebrake inside the rotors a couple.times to.

I like gm, they have had some some crappy stuff but I think the 3800s and 4.3s are good motors too.

^^^ I agree the 3800 is a fine engine, so is the 5.3. It's the rest of the car/truck that sucks.lol

I will say, I miss my reg cab Z71. That thing was soo fun and had all kinds of nut. Suprised a few ricers around here with it. 5.3 is one of the best engines out there. Hmmm... Motor swap into the yota when its paid off???? ha ha.

I had a jeep commanche and have an el camino too. Traded a 85 full size blazer in on the tacoma all the space was nice, but the gas mileage and stuff always breaking sucked.

I have only owned reg cabs. 1994-2002 Chevy S10, 2003-2013 Taco, and now 2013 Taco. Sadly, the rumor is that this will be the final reg cab Taco.

I hope they continue to make them. The regular cabs seem to be popular in rural areas.

2011 was the last production year as I understand it. When I bought my 2011 Reg Cab, the Ranger was one of the other Reg Cab trucks available.
